This Week’s Time Sucker: Falling Sand

This site is really fun, but it sneaks up on you.  When I first found it I really didn’t see what the big deal was.  But then I started playing with it and discovered all the things you can do to the sand.  For starters, just play around with your mouse, then go to the bottom of your screen and see what else you can do.

Falling Sand

This is a great site for kids, too.  My seven-year-old loves it, but even better, so does my four-year-old, because she really doesn’t need to point and click with any kind of accuracy, just play around.

It’s also fun to leave for a while, then come back and see how things progressed!

Wow. Forget Twitter; I just found a new way to waste my day. My kids will love this. Thanks!

Well that’s my plan: if I’m going to be completely unproductive, then I’m going to drag as many people down with me as I can!
