Product Giveaway: Baby Einstein
Nov 20, 2008 Product Giveaway
This week’s giveaway is very cool. I have two Baby Einstein tote bags, each filled with great stuff for babies from Baby Einstein! I went to lunch last week with Kim, founder of Mom in the City, and two really nice marketing people from Baby Einstein, Matt and Michelle. We had a long, delicious lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, Isabella’s on the Upper West Side (best Spinach Ravioli I’ve ever had in my life), and talked about the Baby Einstein brand. It was obvious after just a few minutes that these people really care about how kids are learning with their products. So much care goes into each of their products, and it really shows.
The first DVD I ever bought as a new mom was Baby Mozart, and even though my kids are 4 and 7, they still love it. It’s almost like sneaking vegetables into food and before they know it they love spinach. They’re growing up listening to classical music thinking it’s kids music (it is!), and hopefully they’ll have an appreciation for it when they’re older.
We also got to take a sneak peek at the newest item from Baby Eistein coming out next year, a world music DVD. This is a new direction for Baby Einstein, their first foray out of the world of classical music, so they’re really excited. I live in a neighborhood with so many different nationalities, I forget that not all kids get to experience different cultures as part of everyday life, so I think this DVD will be a great addition to their brand.
I walked away from the lunch with two great bags of stuff celebrating ten years of happy babies, so two lucky people get to win the following:
- count & compose piano (6+ months), which plays music and counts in English, French, and Spanish
- Baby Mozart Special Edition DVD (3+ months)
- Look at Me! Mirror Discovery Cards (9+ months)
- Lullaby Classics CD
- Neighborhood Animals board book
- busy bellies frog jiggle toy
To enter to win, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post saying what your favorite Baby Einstein product is. If you don’t already have one in mind, you can go here and explore their products.
Entries must be received by noon eastern on Tuesday, November 25th. Two winners will each receive a tote bag filled with the items listed above. Any comments received after noon eastern on November 25th will not count! The winners will be chosen at random by random.org. Only mailing addresses in the U.S. and Canada are eligible. Only one entry per person per day please. I’ll say that again: you can answer once per day! To see the full rules, please go here.
Good luck!

My boys used to love the DVD of Baby McDonald on the Farm. The pigs doing down the slide and landing in a puddle of mud made them laugh every time!
I totally love their soft blocks that they have.
They are just perfect for little hands to explore & use their senses.
I love Baby Einstein! We only have two DVD’s right now — Baby Neptune is my favorite — I love the WATER references and pictures. It has entertained my son for months! And, we have the stuffed turtle character from that episode. A great toy too!
Meet the Orchestra! We watched that DVD for months.
Last night, my daughter had a 103 fever and we were up for several hours as she wrestled with it. The only thing that did it for her was our Baby Bach VHS (That’s right, I said VHS – My 13yr old watched Baby Bach as a wee one too!). So I’d have to say, in my overly caffeinated, sleep deprived state, Baby Bach is our favorite Baby Einstein product a gazillion times over and over and over, hands down.
I like baby bach too!
What a great giveaway! As a first time mom of a 6 month old, I am just learning about all of the baby einsteins products…. I am excited to see they have a piano, as my son is at that age where things that make noise give him the giggles. I am loving this age. We have the baby beethoven symphony of fun dvd at home, and it is the perfect amount of interest without being overstimulating. My son has been engaged every time I put it on.
My daughter really enjoys chewing on her Baby Einstein Count Along Links. In particular, she always goes for the star-shaped link.
Any of their products are great tools for learning, but I especially like the Take Along Caterpillar.
my 5 month old is currently loving our Discover and Play Activity Center!
I love the Baby Einstein DVD series, both my boys loved them!
My kids….my son more so….loved these DVDs. It was the only way I could ever bf my second since my first was so young. he would sit in front of this for 20 minutes while I nursed and done!
No children yet but would love to have this waiting for them!!! Baby Mozart is way cool!!
We love baby Bach, Mozart, van Gogh, Newton – and most recently we have a great Baby Einstein exersaucer, with the best melodies I ever saw in a baby toy.
Baby Mozart is the best. You can’t beat the music, and the toys are so cool! We even bought two of the toys that we saw on the Baby Mozart DVD because my kids were so fascinated by them. We heart Baby Einstein!
My 4 month old son loves his Take Along Caterpillar. It keeps him happy and occupied wherever he is: carseat, stoller, or crib.
Our 9 month old son Jackson loves the Baby Einstein DVD with the parts of the body. He liked the monkey skit and doing “Head Shoulder Knees and Toes”. We just started Baby Noah he likes to look at the animals… Our favorite toy is his Baby Einstein Exersaucer. He LOVES to bang on the music part and spin around and around…
My 10 month old triplets LOVE Baby Einstein! it really helps me out when they are having meltdowns to let them watch a Baby Einstein dvd for a little bit. They calm down and we actually get some quiet time.
My little guy would love this. I also like the mirror me books and the safari dvd looks fun. Thanks for the great giveaway Amy!!!
I love the Baby Mozart DVD and the Classic Lullaby CD, too! So much music and video made for kids is so awful – noisy, scary or obscenely twee – but not Baby Einstein…
Well, I’m going to be MORE of a selfish mom and say that if I don’t win i’m going to scream and kick and throw a bigger tantrum if I’m not chosen than my daughter would !!!!!! hee hee
So please pick me??? or at least give me a pity hug
