Videos from the Disney Fantasy christening gala

I’m still chuckling over parts of the christening gala for Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Fantasy. We were treated to some absolutely amazing entertainment.

The evening started with one of my favorite actors, Neil Patrick Harris, doing a musical number that had me literally shaking as I was trying to record it.

Next up was a number from the on-board production of Aladdin, “Never Had a Friend Like Me.”

Then, Jerry Seinfeld did a set that had me shaking again:

“Dig a Little Deeper,” originally from The Princess and the Frog, is now part of the ship’s production called Believe, and was really fantastic.

The amazing Heather Headley sang three fantastic songs: “You’ll Be in my Heart” from Tarzan, “I See the Light” from Tangled, and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King. She was breathtaking!

The third and final number from the on-board productions, a techno version of “I’ve Got No Strings,” is from the show Wishes.

Heather Headley ended the show by singing “When You Wish Upon a Star” as Neil Patrick Harris joined the entire cast and some very special Disney characters on stage.

It was truly a night to remember. I hadn’t planned on recording the entire thing, but it was just so good, I wanted to save it! I hope you enjoy these performances as much as I did.
