So first of all, I didn’t know there was an adult kickball league. Second of all, this guy gets serious style points.
This story about the family that’s considering suing because their daughter wasn’t valedictorian makes me sad in about twelve different ways, but let’s concentrate on just one: How after working really hard to get excellent grades, this poor girl’s parents called her a loser. I sincerely hope she gets out of that house and realizes that her parents aren’t normal.
I can’t tell you how excited I am for the Microsoft Surface tablet. From what I’ve read, it looks like right out of the box it will have a case, a keyboard, and a stand. It will run two different versions of Windows 8, one designed more for a tablet (with a price competitive to the iPad) and a fuller version that will run like a pc (with a more pc-like price). Take a look at how gorgeous it is. I can’t wait to get my hands on one.
I just happened to watch Drive the other night. If you haven’t seen it, I won’t ruin anything for you, but I will say that it made me cringe more than any other movie, ever. It was really good, and Ryan Gosling was just perfect, but it has some of most gruesome movie deaths I’ve ever seen.
So, the juxtaposition of that Ryan Gosling with the Ryan Gosling in the video below is almost surreal. He sings in the beginning, but the awesome 90s dance moves start around the 37 second mark. You won’t be disappointed, I promise you. (And thanks to my friend Amy for posting it on Facebook.)
And last, I promised you up there in the title that there would be some incestuous family comedy, and here it is, in a RT from Mia Farrow herself (big thanks to my friend Marinka for putting it on twitter for me to see and snort at):
Boom RT @RonanFarrow: Happy father’s day — or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law’s day.
