I woke up as a thirty-nine-year-old this morning, and I just got a birthday email from my mom, with my first passport scanned in:

Ten years ago today, I became a mom. And now here I am, with a son who’s old enough to light his own candles. It seems like yesterday when he needed help just blowing them out. Happy birthday, little man.
